What we collect
The details you type into the application: your name, email, optional phone number, U.S. state, availability, your written answers, and optional links. We also store a one-way hash of your network address to stop abuse, and the date you consented. We do not ask for, and ask that you do not include, information about your race, religion, age, health, family, or other protected characteristics.
Why
Only to evaluate your application, contact you about it, and, if you join, set up your contractor account. We do not sell it or use it for marketing, and we do not use automated decision-making to accept or reject you; people read every application.
Who sees it
The site administrator. It is stored encrypted. We do not share it with others except service providers who help us run the site, or where the law requires.
How long we keep it
If you are not hired, we delete your application about 365 days after our decision. If you join, the application is kept with your contractor records. You can ask to see, correct or delete your application at any time by emailing support@mykidisbad.com; California and other state residents have additional rights described in our Privacy Policy.
If you are hired
We will also collect a Form W-9 (name, address and taxpayer ID) to pay and report your earnings. Your taxpayer ID is stored encrypted. We keep pay and tax records for at least four years.
Applicants must be at least 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
