Terms of Service

Last updated: September 16, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MyKidIsBad.com (the "Service"), operated by MyKidIsBad.com ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service — including taking a test, viewing a report, or making a purchase — you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Entertainment and self-reflection only — not professional advice

This is the most important section — please read it. MyKidIsBad.com is provided strictly for entertainment and general self-reflection purposes. We are not licensed, certified, or accredited by any medical, psychological, psychiatric, educational, or child-development body, and no one on our team is providing you with medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, or other professional advice through this Service.

The quiz questions, scores, category breakdowns, AI-generated reports, and any suggestions, tips, or "action plans" are not a diagnosis, assessment, or treatment recommendation of any kind, and must not be treated as one. You should not rely on anything from this Service to make decisions about your child's health, safety, development, education, or wellbeing. We expressly disclaim any responsibility for actions you take, or decline to take, based on content from the Service. If you have real concerns about a child's behavior, health, or development, please consult a qualified pediatrician, licensed therapist, psychologist, or other appropriate professional.

If you or someone you know is in crisis or in danger, please contact your local emergency services immediately — this Service is not equipped or intended for emergencies of any kind.

2. Who can use the Service

The Service is intended for use by adults (parents, guardians, and other caregivers) answering questions about a child in their care. It is not directed at, and should not be used directly by, children. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to make a purchase.

3. Accounts and the information you provide

The Service does not require you to create an account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the answers, age range, and any email address you choose to provide. Don't submit information about anyone without a lawful basis to do so, and don't use the Service to harass, evaluate, or make decisions about a child in a way that isn't in that child's best interest.

4. Payments, pricing, and refunds

Some parts of the Service (full reports, and the Deep test) require a one-time payment, processed securely through PayPal. Current pricing is shown before you pay. Payments are for access to digital content that is delivered immediately upon purchase; because of that, purchases are generally final and non-refundable, except where required by law or at our discretion on a case-by-case basis. If something went wrong with your purchase, contact us at support@mykidisbad.com and we'll do our best to make it right.

5. Report access and expiration

Free and unlocked reports are available at a private link for a limited time (currently 48 hours) after your test. If you'd like to keep a report longer, you can enter your email to save it indefinitely, free of charge. We're not responsible for reports that expire because they weren't saved in time.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, quiz content, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use your own report for personal, non-commercial purposes (including printing or saving it as a PDF for yourself), but you may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service itself.

7. AI-generated content

Report explanations and suggestions are generated using artificial intelligence based on the answers you provide. AI-generated content can be wrong, incomplete, generic, or occasionally strange — treat it as a conversation-starter and a prompt for your own reflection, never as a source of truth about your child.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any report will be accurate, complete, or useful for your situation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyKidIsBad.com and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service — including any decision made or action taken in reliance on content from the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent changes. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

MyKidIsBad.com is for entertainment and general self-reflection only.
